Abstract
The aim of the research was to compare incidence of small complications after carotid endarterectomy (CEA) versus carotid artery stenting, as well as to evaluate its application in specific clinical situations. The outcomes of1826 patients who underwent surgery for stenosis of the internal carotid artery (ICA) were analyzed. There were two groups: 1018 patients who underwent CEA and 808 patients who carried the stenting. Age of patients was greater and coronary heart disease, diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease occurs more often in group with endovascular treatment, and they had rife stroke anamnesis. The mortality rate, uncontrolled hypertension and transient ischemic attacks were similar in early postoperative period. Stroke frequency was higher in patients with carotid artery stenting (35 (4,3 %) versus 27 patients (2,6 %) with CEA (p = 0,02)), and myocardial infarction took place more often after CEA (38 (3,7 %) versus 13 (1,6 %) patients with endovascular treatment (p = 0,008)). There was no statistically significant difference in security between CEA and stenting. However, treatment of carotid stenosis should be chosen according to individual characteristics, including individual anatomy.

Abstract
In the known classifications, there is no terminological wording as asymmetrical sagittal occlusion of segments of dentition in lateral areas. The work complemented classification of sagittal occlusion anomalies in the lateral areas of dentition of following types of asymmetric occlusion: Type I of asymmetrical sagittal occlusion: correct (neutral - class 1] ratio of lateral teeth on one side and distal (class 2) ratio on the other side. Type II of asymmetrical sagittal occlusion: correct (neutral - class 1] ratio of lateral teeth on one side and mesial (class 3) ratio on the other side. Type III of asymmetrical sagittal occlusion: distal (class 2] ratio of lateral teeth on one side and mesial (class 3) ratio on the other side. Type of asymmetrical sagittal occlusion is not the basis for the establishment of gravity anomalies.

Abstract
The aim of the work was to evaluate the perioperative management of aged patients after elective surgical cerebral revascularization. We analyzed the outcomes of 813 patients of 70 years and older who had surgery for stenosis of the internal carotid artery [ІСА]. There were two groups: 392 patients who had carotid endarterectomy [CEA] and 421 patients who had the stenting. Age of the patients, severity of disease and comorbidity were similar in both groups In aged patients, the incidence of acute disorders of cerebral circulation (stroke] after CEA was significantly lower than the one after stenting (p = 0,04]. Frequency of perioperative myocardial infarction [MI] was 3 times higher in cases with CEA (p = 0,03]. in patients of 70 years and older, CEA shown lower incidence of stroke, however, there is increase of perioperative MI while using this method. Endovascular treatment could be chosen in patients with severe cardiac disease according to atherosclerotic plaques with no risk of embolism. In addition, the individual approach and assessment of social aspect are necessary.

Abstract
At Hie present time, studying psychophysiological condition of levels of mental adaptation by means of objective indices is especially actual. Therefore, the identification and assessment of the indices characterizing the functional condition of an organism will allow the expert to decide on the level of mental adaptation. We examined 75 respondents which were divided into groups in correspondence with V.Y. Semke's concept. Primary diagnostic measures included clinical and psychological methods, the assessment of the functional condition of nervous system, short record of variability of cardiac rhythm. Features of psychophysiological condition of processes of regulation and functioning of ground levels of mental health in persons of hazardous occupation are studied. /Is a result of the conducted research, we revealed the reliable changes in the psychoadaptation and psychodisadaptation state in vegetative system of supporting of the processes of regulation of an organism in group (p < 0,05) (according to the indices of spectral analysis of cardiac rhythm and variation ofpulsometry according to R.M. Bayevsky). The tension index increased from 45,92 ± 31,81 to 347,94 ± 434,01 (p < 0,05). Reliable negative dynamics of change of clinical, psychological and psychophysiological indexes is shown upon transition from the first to the third level of mental health (p < 0,05).

Abstract
Individual variation in the clinical trajectories of affective disorder may have prognostic and therapeutic implications. We aimed to describe the long-term clinical course and outcome of non-psychotic affective disorder based on 5-year catamnesis. Medical records of 47 patients were studied (12 men, 35 women). The studied cases are characterized by polymorphism of symptoms and high levels of somatization and comorbid disorders. At first hospitalization only 46,8 % of cases diagnosed matched category F3 (ICD-10), a high level of double diagnosis has been described (14 cases - 29,8 %). Subsequent hospitalizations increased frequency of diagnosis of bipolar disorder type 2 (DSM-IV) - from 6,4 % to 33,3 % (p < 0,005). The problem of early recognition of non-psychotic affective disorders was discussed.

Abstract
To estimate an accuracy of methods of myocardial infarction diagnostics (ECC, echocardiography, biomarkers) 41 case history reports of patients with Q(+) and Q(-) myocardial infarction and lethal outcome were analyzed. ECG and echocardiography were proved to be most accurate in case of anterior (67 % and 67 %), lateral (71 % and 67 %) and inferior (46 % and 79%) localizations of myocardial infarction. Interventricular septum and posterior localizations were not detected on ECG (0%). Complete coincidence of ECG and echocardiography with autopsy results was detected only in 4 %. CPC and CPC-МВ levels were elevated in 97%, troponins were positive in 70 %. Risk factors of lethal outcome in case of myocardial infarction include sex (male), comorbid pathology (arterial hypertension, cerebrovascular disease, diabetes mellitus type 2), complications (rhythm disorders, cardiogenic shock, congestive heart failure), absence of thrombolytic therapy and its inefficacy. Myocardial infarction hypo- and hyperdiagnosis were detected.

Abstract
Influenza A virus (IAV) is a worldwide pathogen of humans and animals. In nature IAV is associated with aquatic birds. The regular survey of natural populations of aquatic birds is important to describe the diversity of IAV, evaluate pathogenic potential of circulating strains for human and domestic animals and reveal possible routes of virus spread during seasonal migrations of wild birds. In this paper the results of annual ecological and viroiogicai survey among wild birds of Eastern Siberia performed between 2005 and 2012 are presented. The cloacal swabs and tissue samples from 901 wild birds were analyzed for presence of IAV using virus isolation in chicken embryos and/or PCR assay. The subtype of IAV was established using haemaggiutintion inhibition assay and genome sequencing. Seventeen subtypes of IAV were discovered including H1N1, H5N1, HswNl, H0N1, H1N4, HlNlsw, H2N2, H3N2, H3N5, H3N6, H3N8, H4N6, H7N1, H7N8, H10N7, H13N6, H13N8. Highest prevalence of infection was detected among wild ducks Anas crecca (18.3 %), A. platyrhynchos (13.8 %) and herring gull Larus argentatus (6.5 %). The most diverse virus population was revealed in Irkutsk Region among L. argentatus that hosted subtypes H3, H6N1 and H9. In the Republic of Tuva and Krasnoyarsk territory H3N8, H5N1 and H7 subtypes were detected. The wild birds from Republic of Khakassia were shown to hostH4 subtype, whereas in Republic of Buryatia subtypes H3 and H4 were detected in wild ducks and herring gulls. Possible routes of IAV spread and epidemiological implications are discussed.

Abstract

The study involved using morphometry in quantitative and qualitative evaluation of reconstruction of rabbit forelimb distracted bone graft. The dynamics of bone graft remodeling process revealed during the experiment showed that relative vascular volume in the bone graft was 70 % increased, cell number was 60 % higher, meanwhile relative volume of tissue structures in the bone graft was lower than in the noninvolved bone. All those parameters can indicate that there is an ongoing process of osteogenesis in the graft.

Abstract
According to different authors, cicatricial changes due to chemical bums of a gullet fluctuate in the big range from 3 to 74 %. Chemical esophagus burn of III degree leads to post-bum scar stricture of the esophagus in 15-70 % of cases. Bougienage, stenting, balloon dilatation are the most effective and safe in 70-96 % of patients. Bougienage is a leading method today. Developing promising direction - stenting with the use of new technologies. Despite the success of minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of stricture, 10-50 % of patients require surgical treatment. For the moment, despite high traumatic and high percent ofstricture relapse (15-40 %), and also exitus letalis coming up to 10%, bougienage is the basic and most effective method of treatment.
