Для поставленной цели были обследованы 123 мужчины в возрасте от 32 до 40 лет (средний возраст – 35,2 ± 0,2 года), у которых определяли основные показатели физического развития.</p><p>Результаты исследования показали, что в группе мужчин средние значения длины тела, которые составили 179,3 ± 0,4 см, были статистически значимо выше, чем у жителей других регионов России и ряда стран, что наблюдалось на фоне значимого увеличения массы тела, окружности грудной клетки, индекса массы тела, а также возрастания дисгармонизации соматотипа с преобладанием в выборке лиц с гиперстеническим типом конституции относительно обследованных юношей. Отмеченное снижение массы скелетных мышц на фоне возрастания общего содержания жира в организме свидетельствует о тенденции к развитию саркопении в группе мужчин трудоспособного возраста. Такие перестройки в показателях физического развития наблюдались на фоне увеличения доли лиц с избыточной массой тела до 47 % и частоты встречаемости ожирения I степени до 17 % среди обследуемых мужчин.</p><p>Заключение. В целом анализ основных показателей физического развития выявил негативные тенденции в формировании соматометрического статуса современных мужчин-северян, что проявляется дисгармоничным соматотипом с тенденцией к саркопеническим проявлениям на фоне увеличения доли лиц с избыточной массой тела и ожирением I степени, что является значительным риском развития неинфекционных заболеваний и риском развития сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний в данном возрастном периоде.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Anthropometry is known as the basic method for the body physical status assessment.</p><sec><title>The aim</title><p>The aim. The study examined anthropometric and somatometric indices in the working age men and investigated physical development variables specific for the region in terms of being used for early diagnosing obesity-related risks for non-infectious diseases.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. One hundred and twenty-three male subjects aged 32–40 participated in the survey (mean age was 35.2 ± 0.2 years). Subjective main physical</p><p>development parameters were analyzed.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. Participants’ average body length variables were seen to be significantly higher than those in other Russia’s regions and some other countries. The similar tendency was observed for subjective body mass, chest circumference, and body mass index variables with disharmonic somatotype and hypersthenic type of body constitution revealed in examined working age men in comparison with younger male subjects. Musculoskeletal mass loss and fat accumulation indicate the development tendency of sarcopenia in men of working age. Excessive body weight prevalence in 32–40-year-old men was 47 %, and 17 % of the examinees were diagnosed with 1st degree obesity.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
